At first I was skeptical about ordering this item, but it has really good reviews on Amazon. The item shipped about 3 weeks after I ordered it and once it began shipping from China it got to my house very quickly!! Took about 1 week to be delivered from California once it actually shipped. Once the item arrived I was very happy! This Samus Aran helmet is super cool! It appears to be made of a very sturdy plastic material. The item is just as shown in the picture. The viewing window is made of very sturdy plastic material that is very flexible. I really liked the LED lights inside, there is a stagnant light-on option and if you click it again you get a blinking light option. It does take 2 CR-2032 lithium batteries, so make sure to buy those for when the helmet arrives because they are not included. The helmet does come with padding on the inside. I will be wearing the Samus blonde wig with this but so far I believe I may have to change my plans because I have no idea how I will fit the ponytail inside of this helmet!! I just don’t see it being possible to fit a ponytail inside this helmet, it is a perfect fit for my head but even if I have a small ponytail on it become incredibly hard to put on the helmet. I think this is just perfect for a Samus suit with armor but if you want to do a zero suit Samus costume with the helmet and wig it is not possible, sorry! It did also come with a ski mask that I thought was very cool of them! Definitely pulls the whole mask together when you can only see the person’s eyes through the ski mask and helmet! Very happy I bought from XCoser!
